Trade Balance of the sector

Pulp and paper are products of great relevance in terms of Brazilian exports. In past years, the sector increased foreign trade operations, conquered new markets and more than doubled its export revenues, while maintaining its trade balance positive.

Currently, Europe, China and the United States answer for the largest part of Brazilian pulp exports. In the segment of papers, buyers with the greatest demand are Latin American countries, as shown in the 2009 data.
