Trade Defense

Actions related to trade defense are a part of the scope of Bracelpa’s international work, with the objective of preventing financial losses and defending the sector’s interests in international trade relations.

Made possible by the Ministry of External Affairs’ articulation, the entity endeavors to solve problems related to export activities, such as release of payments, customs’ clearance, non-automatic licenses and other measures that represent non-tariff barriers to trade.

In addition, the Association orients and defends the sector in regards to unfair competition both in domestic (dumping) and foreign markets (antidumping).
