Celulose Riograndense is a company of the CMPC group, one of the largest and most important producers and exporters in the international pulp market. With its mill located in the City of Guaíba (in the state of Rio Grande do Sul), the company annually produces 450 thousand metric tons of hardwood pulp and 60 thousand metric tons of printing and writing paper, obtained from sustainable eucalyptus plantations in 36 municipalities. The total area of Celulose Riograndense’s in the state of Rio Grande do Sul comprises over 526 thousand acres, of which 311 thousand acres are occupied by eucalyptus plantations and nearly 192 thousand acres are destined for reservation and conservation.
