Thematic Committees

Bracelpa’s management model is structured by actions carried on by the Thematic Committees, which debate strategic issues relevant for the industry in distinct areas – forests, products, sustainability and communication, among others. The Committees’ objective is to evaluate the sector’s long-term major trends and recommend proactive actions to be taken by Bracelpa.

The Committees also conduct studies, researches, campaigns and elaborate documents that orient the entity’s actions. To this end, these bodies supply information and subsidies for deliberations to be taken by the Councils of the Association and the entity’s high management, in addition to defining consensual positioning among member companies.

Bracelpa’s Thematic Committees gather circa 250 professionals among managers and high management officers, who are appointed by member companies. Participation is voluntary.
