Adami was established on June 9th, 1942 in the city of Caçador (SC) and, by that time its corporate name was Adami & Cia Ltda. On January 2nd, 1956, the company underwent some changes and its corporate name changed to Adami S/A Madeiras.

In the municipality of Caçador (SC), the mill manufactures packaging paper, corrugated cardboard packaging, processed or unfinished sawn pine wood. In several other municipalities in Santa Catarina, Adami also operates in other activities such as in lumbering, reforesting, livestock, pulp and chemical-mechanic industries.
