Established in 1895 in Albany, New York State, the Albany Felt Company had as a primary goal the supply the domestic paper market. On January 10th, 1975, Albany International opened its Brazilian operations in the city of Blumenau (SC). It brought along its expertise with new administration techniques, modern human resource policies and production based on state-of-the-art technology.
