Nobrecel origins go back to 1929 when Cia Agrícola e Industrial Cícero Prado was founded. This enterprise, in 1978, separated its agricultural activities from the industrial activities. The resulting industrial complex gave origin to another company that was called Cícero Prado Celulose e Papel S.A, in 1982. Its stock control was transferred to the Group De Zorzi and received a new corporate name: Cia De Zorzi de Papéis, in operations until August 1996. From that date on, it started to operate under its current corporate name.
