Newsprint for newspaper and periodicals, mainly made with mechanical or mechanical-chemical pulp, with 45 to 56 g/m2, with or without waterlines in a controlled standard, with or without superficial bonding.

Newsprint paper, in fact, belongs to the printing paper category, but, due to its importance, it is classified as a separate item.

It is the type of paper that represents the higher volume of importation.
