- OTHER WHITE OR COLORED
Light cardboards made with either chemical or semi-chemical pulps, trimmings and/or mechanical pulp, in one only mass and in several layers, in the paper machine or in the binding/gluing (Bristol) machine, smoothed or monolucid, basis weight 120 to 290 g/m2, used for manufacturing folders, calendars, labels, school cards, cards with guide lines, punching cards, books and textbooks covers, subject tags and so forth.
- CARDBOARD
Board with high basis weight and strength essentially made of mechanical pulp or trimmings, usually in several layers of the same mass. Overall, its color depends on the material used in its manufacturing. It is used for bookbinding, support for vouchers, boxes and billboards to be covered. It is commercialized in different formats and with different numbers to indicate the thickness of the sheets in a 25 kg bale. See sub-items for a better classification:
- WOOD BOARD OR PARANA BOARD
It is the board which is manufactures with virgin fibers from mechanical or chemi-mechanical pulps. The brown (dark gray) board, obtained from the mechanical pulp of steam pre-impregnated logs should be included here.
- GRAY BOARD
It is the board made of recycled trimmings.
- LAMINATED BOARD
This board is essentially made with trimmings and waste paper, obtained by binding overlapping sheets, with no surface coating, basis weight from 349 to 1749 g/m2, in sheets.
- MOLDED PULP
This product is obtained from the desegregation or separation of the newspaper trimming fibers and other waste paper, which, mixed with water and other chemical products form a colored or natural paste, which will originate other protection or transportation products such as food trays, fruits and vegetables protection, bulb protection, cell phone packaging, refrigerators and stove packaging.

Paper for specific use, manufactured with chemical pulp, usually with basis weight ranging from 100 to 280 g/m2, machine finished, and with mass or surface treatment in order to bear the use of erasers.
- HELIOGRAPH PAPER
Paper for specific use, manufactured with bleached chemical pulp, low iron content, even absorption, basis weight from 40 to 120 g/m2, well bonded, smoothed, white or light colors.
- ABSORBENT AND FILTERING PAPER
Papers for specific use. See sub-items for a better classification:
- FILTERING PAPER
Paper manufactured, usually, with chemical pulp, basis weight from 80 to 400 g/m2, with specific characteristics according to its use.
- ABSORBENT PRIME FOR LAMINATED
Paper manufactured with chemical pulp without bonding, with even formation and even width, high absorption, usually with 150 to 270 g/m2, used for synthetic resins impregnation when manufacturing plastic laminates.
- UNCLASSIFIED
